Choosing LUNO as My Crypto Wallet

When it comes to online wallets for cryptocurrency transactions, there are several options available. However, I personally prefer using LUNO because I find it easy and user-friendly.

History of LUNO
I've been using this wallet since its inception in 2013 when it was known as BitX. In 2017, BitX rebranded itself as LUNO.

In September 2017, LUNO successfully raised $9 million to introduce its wallet brand, exchange, and bitcoin services in Europe and Asia.

At one point, LUNO encountered issues in Malaysia where its primary bank accounts were frozen. However, in April 2018, Luno became registered with Malaysia's Central Bank as a reporting body for cryptocurrencies.

By the end of 2019, LUNO appointed AmBank as its main banker to support its operations. Customer funds on LUNO are held in AmBank trust accounts, complying with the requirements of the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).

LUNO offers various cryptocurrencies for buying, selling, and storing, such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC).

If you don't have a LUNO account yet, you can register below.

Here are simple steps to deposit cash into your LUNO Malaysia account. But first, have you signed up with LUNO! You can register with LUNO Malaysia if you haven't already. Use promo code Y4MAE to receive a Bitcoin rebate worth RM75 when you deposit and buy or sell Bitcoin worth RM250.
